Welcome to the family! If you’re wondering where to begin your journey with Italian Pocket Tales, you’re in the right place. My goal is to help you enjoy the process of learning Italian through stories that are easy on the ears and kind to your brain.
Here is a quick guide to help you find the right story for your level.
1. Choose your level
I’ve organized my stories to grow with you. Pick a tale that matches your current comfort level:
🌱 Beginner (A1-A2): Slow, simple sentences and everyday vocabulary.
🌿 Intermediate (B1-B2): More descriptive language and common idioms.
🌳 Advanced (C1-C2): Complex themes, nuanced vocabulary, and natural speed.
2. How to use my stories
To get the most out of every “Pocket Tale,” I recommend this simple 3-step routine:
Listen & Relax: Watch the YouTube video first. Just listen to the music and the flow of the Italian language without worrying about understanding every single word.
Read Along: Open the email transcript (or your PDF) and watch the video again, following the on-screen subtitles.
Shadowing: Try reading the story out loud along with my voice. It feels a bit silly at first, but it’s the best way to improve your accent!
